Writing
- Write a two-paragraph essay in response to the following prompt
- You are a colonist living in Maryland in 1754. You see British influence everywhere, even though many settlers, especially in Pennsylvania and Delaware, are from countries other than England. Write two paragraphs to a friend in England, one explaining which factor was most responsible for this Anglicization and why; and the other describing at least one political, one economic, and one cultural similarity between the colonies and England.
